About Jen.
I started my career & training in Chicago in the late 90s. Upon relocating to San Diego in 2003, I started working at a salon in Encinitas. After leading a successful education program for new talent, I decided to open my own salon & build an epic team in 2009. I've helped mentor hundreds of new & experienced stylists to become successful behind the chair and beyond. For many years, I worked side by side with at least one assistant & serviced multiple clients simultaneously. My guest experience was very connected to my mentoring work.
In 2021, I felt a tugging to sell the salon, slow down & be more present with my family, and coincidentally my clients too. In 2022, I was offered an opportunity that would allow me to create the life/work harmony that I’ve always desired. Working in a private suite allows me to continue to elevate my craft & connect with my clients in a more meaningful way. Magic literally happens on the daily within the intimate space of Amaretto Suite Co. I adore the opportunity to give every guest my full attention. My clients get the whole “Jen experience” from beginning to end, finally! And my family, they get a more balanced version of me.

I'm very detail oriented and I strive to give you the best service possible. I will go over these questions prior to us reserving space so we can create the best possible game plan to achieve your dream hair, outline what you can expect at your first session & map out logistics.
I want you to feel confident in the plan we come up with for your personalized hair ritual. Don't stress about your answers, they don't have to be perfect. We will go over everything again at your appointment in detail.
